I personally love everything about it. If there was ever a world where something like this could be within my means and I actually had to opportunity to buy it, I would.
However, this and like many other cars in this world, it will remain unobtainable and I'll just admire it through photos on here or elsewhere online. ![]()

Thank you for taking and sharing these awesome pics!
[Rant mode on] I consider this as a halo car for BMW. I surely wish they would have done something better than using those floating calipers on the rear. Put a damn manual parking brake and get at least single piston fixed calipers there![Rant mode off] |

Rant (ctnd.)
For 750,000 Euros just 550 H.P. [what?], this with imposing 3,600 lbs, broader stuck-on wheel housings like from aftermarket, puffier cheeks and smaller kidney. In addition, comfort access, parking sensors and electric seats aren't available for order. At this price a super sports car for 50ieth celebration is something else than this one. Not available in the U.S. Enjoy your "normal" bimmer, folks, it's still much more than you have been dreaming of in your childhood! ![]() A terrific set of photos, anyway. Many thanks for it!

A halo car would of been the resurection of the M1 with a mid engine and all. This is more of an odd to the past and a celebration.

Rear brakes look a little sad. Regardless, here’s to BMW one day putting this tune and front grill on a mass produced M3.

If only it was 500lbs lighter…3,600lbs?!?!?!?!?? And only 550hp. Not quite sure what BMW was going for here…a 10 year old c6 z06 vette with the z07 package was 505hp and came in at just over 3,100lbs.
Put cup 2rs on that car and this car would be hard pressed to keep up. I won't even compare it to a 911 GT3…would be an insult to the 911. |

All the additional regulations for safety and crash structure are making todays cars heavier and heavier, not too mention all the tech features that are built in and a lot of them also for safety, not just comfort and luxury. 10 years ago a lot of things were not mandatory on cars that now are…I don't like it neither, but lightweight cars are a thing from the past… |

I'm not sure why people get their knickers in a twist about weight and floating brakes
Ten or 20 years ago, we all weighed less - cars included 😜😜 Floating brakes are a part of the M4CSL as well. Not all of us are marvels of engineering; BMW must have a good reason for going the direction they did with this - the better question is: the purpose not the rationale BMW ///M, I hope I'm still around to celebrate your 75th with you

Clearly the designers are not part of the mass production team. Good!
Looks great and the front end with that lower lip 🔥

If this this thing was more in the 150 to 200k range it would've made sense but 750k for this? No way no how. That's just ridiculous.
I like the car though but not 750k like. If it was a M1 hommage then yeah 750k would make more sense. Just noticed the rear end from the side view. There's something off about it. It seems to have this long overhang from the rear. |

M Pirate a huge thank you for all of the pics! I’ve watched the videos more than a few times 😜, but having these pictures to drool over and not have to worry about blinking and missing the quick frames in the videos is fantastic.
