if you mean exterior mirrors with built-in turn signal, the 2023 X1 has it. I definitely saw it on the one I was test driving.

Every video I have seen of the new X1 has it.

Here's a pic of an MSport at a dealer in my area. You can see the turn signals more clearly with the black mirror caps vs the silver caps on the xLine versions.

Wow! Did not know that EuroMotorcars has a BMW dealer near Philly.

I bought a Mercedes from EuroMotorcars Mercedes in Maryland a few years ago. Great people!

I also didn't realize that they also had Audi and Mini dealerships.

25 years ago, they also sold Rolls-Royce(next door to their Mercedes dealership in MD), but I don't see it on their website anymore... now where am I going to my my Rolls-Royce?

I just checked.mine does have it. But I can’t see the light blinking from the inside. I was able to see this in my older car. I need to see if this is a setting I need to change.

Doesn't look like the turn signal indicators actually wrap far enough around the mirror cover for you to actually see them blinking like some earlier models. I don't think a setting or any coding can change this, as it's a physical limitation.

at my previous house, I had a giant mirror in the garage like the one in the picture below.(installed by the guy who originally built that house and used the garage as a dance studio)

it was very useful for checking the exterior lights of my cars.

There is a small extension of the mirror, mounted turn signals on the very back corner of the housing assembly so traffic on your left or right outboard side(s) can clearly see your signal

I haven't noticed anything from the driver's seat.

My F30 turn signals in the mirror did extend all the way to the end of the housing so the driver could see them.

Euro… US spec for the mirror is the same, a highway safety thing.

There is no US regulation requiring side marker turn signals. Not every car in the US has this feature.

Basically, all vehicle manufacturers agreed to the lighting standards, so a federal regulation was adopted in 2011. The regulation is 13 pages long, so I include the final page. There was an intensive research about vehicle lighting as it pertains to veh safety and visibility.

The mirror lights have to be designed that signals have to be seen from forward angle to the blind side angle. All vehicle manufactures agree to this principle many many years ago.

I’ve owned 10 BMW’s and all except 2 had some type of side signal light that worked with the turn signals.

Which is funny because they were not allowed or deemed unnecessary when I had my '86 VW GTI. US Spec cars got a plastic cover where the side markers were and instead just got a constant parking light built into the front corner of the fenders that the Euro spec cars didn't have. So many people here spent money either importing fenders or having them filled and painted over and then adding the side markers lol.
