Does anyone have pictures of the black/blue Alcantara interior?

If you do, could you please post? I’ve seen it in a Z4, but those seats are shaped very differently. Curious as to what parts are Alcantara versus Sensatec.

I've seen them in some review videos. The Alcantara runs down the main/middle portion of the seat, and the Sensatec is on the bolsters/headrest/sides.

well... I want to thank you as well.. your post got me off my lazy [rear end] and finally looked up what Alcantara was.... not what I always believed... somehow I always thought that Alcantara was some weird animal that was farmed for its Alcantara leather. (no kidding... just goes to show you how far my ignorance can go) Tomorrow, if I have nothing else to do, I may even look up to see if there are this Florida python problem is real or now.

Wikipedia:
Alcantara is the brand name of a common synthetic textile material. It has a soft, suede-like microfibre pile and is noted for its durability. Alcantara is commonly seen in automotive applications, as a substitute for leather and vinyl in vehicle interior trim. It is also used in the design, fashion, consumer electronics and marine industries.[1] Alcantara was developed in the 1970s by Miyoshi Okamoto and initially manufactured by the Italian company Alcantara.

We were excited to see the alcantara was going to be offered as a seating opinion. My wife really liked the ultra suede seats in the Volvo and commented that it's nice to not have your legs stick to the seats in hot weather and be chilled in cold weather.

for that purpose, I would get custom-made real sheepskin seats. I have these on my old Mercedes. Work very well in both summer and winter... plus the seats are nice and plush for long drives. Sometimes when I get home, my cat sneaks into the car while I'm unloading stuff... he falls asleep on the sheepskin seats.(and gets mad when I kick him out)
