This is what we expected already after seeing the Ring time.
Give the Carrera S some Cup+ tires, the CSL's times will be matched, and forget the GT3.

Not disappointing at all. You need to consider that this a relatively short track, so 1.5 sec distance to G80 is actually a lot. Just a second slower than the awesome GT4 RS which is to expect.

We could also just say that all BMWs are magnificent and destroy all their competitors, but that is not an adult way of describing facts and would turn the forum into an(other) Bmw fanboys blog.

There is another fresh comparison online between the CSL and a Porsche, and once again the winner is not the Bmw, but it is probably too sensitive to be posted

The reality is no one will be seriously tracking these anyway. Barely any cooking G8x's at track days let alone CSL's.

In my mind I expect for Porsche to be better. It's next level IMO but I agree with you sometimes people here don't like to think that way.

That, or a two seater or 2+2 (…basically still a two seater) doesn't make sense for their lifestyle. Either way, I wish they'd all go buy a 911 and stop bitching about BMW's.

Man I wish Porsche went through with their original plans of making a small 4 door to compete in the M3/C63 segment instead of scrapping those plans and making a Taycan.

As it stands... I need 4 doors and M3 it is. Not that I'm complaining... I'm beyond excited for it and it's still a bucket list car for me. But once my kids are grown and no longer need carseats... 911 it is for me.
