Steering Wheel upgrade options?

Thoughts on steering wheel upgrade on the G8x? Im looking for something purist-type. Something similar to the M4 CSL or the M5 CS. I'd even consider the partial Alcantara M Performance.

BMW only offers it as a full assembly currently. Will keep an eye if they ever plan to offer only the steering wheel itself.

Thanks. My goal is really to have the CSL look. I don't care if it comes OEM or not.

Do any of the LED wheels support the heating function?

I have this on order from my dealer. Couldn't order it separately.

Alcantara wheels don't seem to feel as cold as the smooth leather wheels imo

Dang it this looks clean with the small paddle shifters and not so thick I would have bought that one if I saw this a month ago.

Anyone want to buy my Carismo one?

If you already have the carbon paddles and trim, you'd be able to fetch a good amount of money to offset the CSL price.

Is this thicker than the standard wheel in the M3/M4? It looks to be in photos and videos…

And do you guys have the ability to swap out the red center stripe for another color?

The only difference that I can see between this and the M Perf is that the CSL is full Alcantara.

Why not get your wheel restitched to look like the CSL steering wheel?

Who can do that with a high degree of quality? I want alcantara but want heating function. PS: don't say DIY, I suck at stitching lol

Losing the heated wheel is the nogo for me. As much as I hate aftermarket options, this will have to be aftermarket. Luckily, it can still be OEM, but recovered.

Most definitely! Ship that wheel and cover to me. Honestly, I genuinely enjoyed doing mine. I didn't get it right till the second go, but it really does look nearly OEM.

But as we all know, IND definitely provides the best workmanship on wrapping wheels. Theirs being a 10/10, I'd say mine is a solid 8.5/10.
