Went in and looked at the us spec here and talked with my sales person and they stated:
Digital key and drive record are not available options which also shows on the price guides but you do have the new Anti theft Record which is cool you get a message to your smart phone if the alarm had been set off really cool

According to my infograph, drive recorder is apart of premium package. It doesn't show it anywhere else, but it would make sense that it is included since it'll have the surround view. Don't see anything on digital key, though.

Actually, your Infograph (which looks for sure like it is a US Spec based on the MSRP on it, shows both Drive Recorder and Digital Key Plus.

Time will tell, but I would assume if they show up without those features, there would be a credit off MSRP.

Just came back from the dealer and I visually confirmed that digital key plus and drive recorder is included with premium package. Convenience package only gets digital key since it doesn't have the cameras needed for drive recorder. She said the only way I won't get it is due to parts shortages, but my car is "in the paint booth" and there were no notes about any features removed.

Yes, she pulled up my car and said as of right now, no features have been removed. I should also note that in my post above, I was actually looking at the ordering guide with her on her computer to verify that drive recorder and digital key was included. We tried looking for lumbar support and active seats but couldn't find anything listed.

Also, some disappointing news, she said they have heard no mention of features being able to be purchased in the Connected Drive app in the US. All material she's seen so far only indicates other world markets only (but she said it could roll out eventually)

So when you run your VIN to see the features, do you see code 9PB? I do not see that on mine and thats the code for Digital Key Plus as posted by user igott.

That, I'm not sure, just going by what she told me when I asked. I only looked when she pulled up the ordering guide. I can ask next time I stop in, I was only there to let them know not to mount the front license plate bracket. They do have a fully loaded Mineral White X1 that's in transit right now, she said she'd let me know once it's arrived so I can check it out.

Easy to find out on your own. Ask your SA for your production number and add it to your garage at https://mygarage.bmwusa.com/. That will give you your VIN and then use the VIN decoder I linked above. Or, just ask your SA for your VIN directly and lokk up the features in the VIN decoder.

Sorry, when I viewed your post earlier I was viewing from the mobile app and running on about 2.5 hours of sleep so I didn't see the link. Ran my VIN and I don't see it listed Really hoping that's wrong because I don't see the drive recorder listed either. Curiously there are a few vague items listed:

9PC Special package-3
7EW equipment package Professional
760 Individual High-gloss Satin Chrome
6C4 Connectedpackage Professional

And I also see:

9QR Preparation steering wheel heating
9QT Preparation seat heating for driver and front passenger

So maybe there's hope I can add options through Connected Drive down the line

I sat and played with a frozen grey x1 m sport. Was able to find the digital key quite easily. But me and the salesman could not find drive recorder. We went through the manual and followed the steps. But the App itself isn’t on the I drive 8 system we looked at. It had premium package, but we couldn’t find it.
