I just moved up from Southern California and joined the Golden Gate Chapter of BMW CCA. There are monthly meetups with the GGC chapter. Normally at least 2 cars and coffee a month in the North Bay, South Bay and down in Monterey County. Today was at Moss Landing Cars & Coffee.

I was there at the last one. Parking is tough so arrive early if you want front parking. A lot of people show up.

Closest to me is Feb 11. Then Thunderhill at the end of Feb.

The drivers control event on 3/11 is so tempting but I’m hesitant cause of this damn rain!!

Learning car control skills in the rain is even better. Less wear on the tires, less grip meaning it's easier to learn what it feels like to lose control, etc.

I’ll be at cars & coffee in Santa Rosa April 8, since I’ll be busy every weekend between now and then. In other news, GGC CCA’s Thunderhill HPDE was great! Highly recommend the next one if you guys/gals have not yet attended.
