I realize that this is pretty random and not at all BMW related. However, my son and I are planning on heading down to Florida to help out in any way possible. We live in North Idaho so we do not have a whole lot of insight as to what is needed most. I have made some random calls to businesses in the areas around Ft Myers and they said bring chainsaws and listed a couple of other tools/items needed. We have these ready to go. Is anyone aware of groups that are already on the ground helping out? We are trying to avoid larger organizations (bureaucracies) as we really just want to help. No photo opportunities or special shirts needed.

I've read that they discourage just showing up, and want to deploy people in an organized way.
