British Racing Green - Interior color?

After waiting months, I finally received an allocation to place an order on a G80 X-Drive in British Racing Green with the carbon buckets. I've narrowed down my interior color choices to black or Silverstone. I'm leaning towards the black. My reasoning is that its going to be way easier to clean, more timeless and more "motor sports". However, the Silverstone interior makes the carbon buckets pop more.

For those with the black interior and carbon buckets, do you find the interior bland?

I think Tartufo worlds best with green but alas no buckets available.

So you've got a British Racing Green exterior. Doesn't it make sense to be consistent and go with an interior color that shares the same name as a British race track and go silverstone?

Silverstone or Orange would look best in my opinion

Have you considered Ivory? I think the buckets look phenomenal in pure white.

I have IOMG with Silverstone buckets. The mixture of green/Silverstone/carbon really makes the paint pop. Would strongly recommend the Silverstone over standard black

Black is fine I guess, but Silverstone doesn't really jive with BRG, IMHO.

If doing buckets I would go with KO.

You already have a special exterior. Go with black.

I'm looking at maybe Verde Ermes or Dakkar, and would do black with carbon buckets.

Two things:

1) People seem to think lighter colored leather interiors are hard to keep clean. Unless you're abnormally dirty, leather in general is very easy to keep clean. I have ivory in my X7 (and previously had ivory in my X5) and a 4 year old and 4 month old. I've never had issues with keeping light interiors clean. If anything, darker interiors show more dirt and spots.

2) If your two options are black and silverstone with BRG, I'd personally go black. While I LOVE lighter interiors, with something as bold as BRG, the only color IMO that would work with it other than black is tartufo. And with tartufo not an option on the bucket seats, that leaves us with black.

Have black now and am happy with it. Had the equivalent of Silverstone in my C63s and it was an expensive pain to keep clean. The dry and dusty climate I am in contributed to that, however, and in a more urban area a lighter interior would be more manageable.

I love SS - but agree with Don - for BRG w/ buckets, I'd go KO, personally…

Curious what you went of here? I did BRG over Silverstone and personally enjoy that look.

If those are the only two options then Silverstone.

But KO would also look fabulous with that colour.

This car needs noise inside. Silverstone or Orange. The external design screams for love inside.

Another vote for Kyalami buckets.

Also, do not get Orange seats unless you want to be known as the inside out pumpkin.

I ended up going with Irish green and a black carbon bucket interior. I’m hoping to add some alcantara bits to spice things up on the interior to give it more of a racey look and feel.

The car just arrived at port today. I should have it in a few weeks. BRG has gotten pretty popular. Irish green is a bit lighter so I’m hoping it will stand out more. I haven’t seen many g80s speced in this color which is exactly what I was looking for when putting up the coin for the individual option.

Chris Harris’s m2 cs sold me on this color -
