[Game Changer]

Hello there:

Purchased this car in June 2022 and been curious to see how quick it is for myself. However, it's been so damn hot and we know cars don't perform their best in hot weather. That said, I decided to attend a TNT at the spur of the moment. Mind you, I have never launched this car before going out and had to You Tube how to use launch control. Well I didn't do it right the first time and ran 12.18. However, the next pass, car went 11.39 at 120.48 with a 1.67 sixty ft. I could not believe it as ambient temps were close to 90 degrees. By this time, the car is really warm so I let it rest for 15 mins (i know, not enough time but i was ready to head back home). 3rd and final pass the car went 11.46. Note, I am 200lbs and nothing was adjusted on the car ie tire pressure. Man, this is sick! My TTS went 11.07 but at 125-127. BMW is wrong for the 503hp rating! That's mathematically impossible for this heavy vehicle to run low 11s at the advertised hp/tq numbers. I would estimate this car has 550 at the wheels or a tad more. With good weather and maybe drop in performance filters-remove the installation in the airbox too, tire air adjustment, this car should run 10.90s. We will see as I ordered/received the BMS blue drop-ins. I may go back soon to the strip just to note any performance gains/losses from this mod. Again, I am impressed and like the way the car behaves.

Let me know you all's thoughts and I am considering apex's catless mid-pipes (cause they advertise/guarantee "no cell" with either system and minimal fuel odor).
