Please join us on September 11th at LeMay Auto Museum in Tacoma to celebrate the belated 50th anniversary of our local BMW club. The anniversary was delayed two years due to COVID.

I will be there as probably the longest active member. I joined in 1973 with my 1971 2002.

I’ll be there in my 2002. Rough Malaga (maroon) paint with a half cage, fixed seats and a turbocharged engine. Should be easy to spot. I’m planning to drive in with a group of 02 owners so we can get parked together.

Very nice! About two years ago, I saw a brand new one at the dealership in Stuttgart; the Mobile Traditions guys had built it from parts they had in stock to show what they can do.

Thanks also for the video from The Ridge, it's not far from my house (35 minutes) so I'm hoping to play there when I move back stateside next year. I had no idea it was there until I went to drop off an old couch at the transfer station!

The Ridge is definitely the most interesting track in our area. I hope you get to drive it some day.

I’m amazed at what I can still get for this car from a BMW dealership through Mobile Traditions. Few automakers take such good care of their classics.

The Ridge is a great track. Definitely check it out. It’s my favorite within a couple hours from home, but when the weather cooperates, Oregon Raceway Park is my favorite PNW track overall. Not taking anything away from PIR or Pacific. They both have their appeal as well. We’re pretty fortunate to have all of them nearby.

Just a warning for I5 drivers north of Seattle, Revive I5 is going on this weekend. I5 is down to one lane southbound through Seattle. You may want to take I405 or Highway 99 instead.

Was a great turn out. Lots of interesting BMWs and LeMays even had a 507 on display. BMW Northwest brought 10 cars including an M1 and a 3.0CSL.

Several M2s were present. Thanks all who showed up.
