My new toy arrived today. Picked her up this afternoon. It is a 2022 BMW M3, 6 speed manual with sunroof. This combination is extremely rare and is believed to be the only one in Australia in this combination and colour. The colour is BMW Individual Atlantis Blue Metallic with Kyalami orange/black interior. I ordered this car back in the middle of February. It has been a long wait. Goes in for PPF, Ceramic Paint protection and window tinting tomorrow.

Congrats on the delivery! Looks absolutely stunning. I'm kinda having regrets not opting for this bold colour or Twilight Purple and going for the "safer" Tanzanite blue.

From completion of production in Germany to actually taking delivery of the car, how long did that take?

Deposit and order placed 14/02/2022 with an allocation of March (used one of the dealers existing allocations)

Changed my mind 28/02/2022 regarding colour and went for the Individual Atlantis Blue Metallic. As this was an individual colour it changes the allocation date and pushed it out to May.

Car completed its build 25/05/2022

Car was handed over to carrier 08/06/2022

Dispatched from AG 20/06/2022

Arrival at port 21/06/2022

Exit from port 27/06/2022

Ship arrived at Melbourne 09/08/2022

Car arrived at PrixCar yard Adelaide 12/08/2022

Car delivered to Glenelg BMW 15/08/2022

Delivery of car to me was afternoon 16/08/2022

I think it ranges from 3000 to 8000. Then a little more for complete one off colours. I think that is something like 15000 but needs to be approved.

Ours was 7990.

Individual Atlantis Blue cost $7500
Then there is the LCT on top of that $2500
Then there is GST $1000

So all up it was $11000. I was able to negotiate a better price of course
but that is retail price

I ended up going with a G81 M3 Touring which I picked up last week. It’s got the same Kyalami interior as you which I’m loving!

Also have to disagree with the naysayers, iDrive 8 is awesome

Beautiful! It's super hard to find one with a sunroof in the US. Most of them come with the carbon roof. I pre-ordered one with a sunroof too. What were your reasons to get a sunroof, more light (that was my reason)? May I ask to take a picture with the roof open? Thank you!
