I've been checking the status via My Garage every few days since securing an allocation last month and was happy to see that my order recently flipped to 150 status!

How exciting! I keep checking every day despite being told it's being built in week 36, but they did say it could happen sooner than that. 🤞

Is yours being built in Brazil too?

How did you order it without seeing the build from BMW website? Markup? Discount? What is the OTD price?

I ordered mine through my dealership, which got several allocations and so was able to build it out with me over the phone. $46something was the price.

Thanks, at this time we are hoping for November as doing Performance Center Delivery adds a few weeks. I should get a date once the car is assigned a ship.

Based on my CA and BMW Genius, all US bound U11 X1 vehicles are being built in Regensburg. I don't believe any are being built in Brazil except possibly for their domestic use.

Allocations and order guides have been distributed to dealerships. So your Client Advisor can go over all the options with you at the time of ordering. My build came out to a hair under $48k. No markup, but a small discount for being a returning customer. Hope to see either loyalty or other offer when I sign just before delivery. Then there's the BMWCCA rebate too!

Congrats!!! Which dealer did you use? Any chance you could PM me your salesperson's email? I'm looking for a dealer to order a new X1 through and I also want to do SC PCD!

My order switched to "scheduled for production" today. Placed order on Aug 24. Any idea how much the wait time is typically before it goes into "production begins" status?

Thanks. Week 36 is great. The genius told me it was the last week of September. I have a sheet which the dealer gave me which says Req prod: 2022/09/38 with sub prod and conf prod: 2022/09/39.So it looks like week 38 or 39 for me. How much time did it take for you to move from "scheduled for production" to "production begins"?

I got my order put in from “scheduled for” and yet to have seen production begins, should see it next Tuesday I’d imagine considering the holiday.

My X1 is also scheduled for week 36 and I don't think they will take our American holiday into consideration in Germany, so we prob won't have to wait till Tuesday to find out! 🤞

My X1 has been at the port of Bremerhaven waiting to be assigned a ship since last week. Sadly, I found out there are already a couple of Stop Sale/Campaigns that have to be completed state side when the car arrives. That will delay things.

The two flagged for mine are Spark Plugs and Program Control Units (EGS). The unit cannot be sold/delivered until the parts and/or software are available and the campaigns remedied.

My incoming X1 has made the voyage across the Atlantic and made it Brunswick, GA. Now we wait to see how long it will be to take care of the stop sale campaigns before I can schedule a delivery date. Hope the fixes have been programmed/parts are available.
