Armaspeed Intake Review!

So I wanted to just post on here about my Armaspeed Intake since so many posts of people asking about Intakes, want more feedback etc.

When I got my car I had the intention of going Eventuri, for obvious reasons but couldn’t fully justify the $3,000 for intakes only as I wanted to still do more to the car.
BUT I wanted full carbon fiber intakes as well for the looks, less heat absorbing and just that BLING factor of the CF with the hood open.

So I came across Armaspeed (which I’ve known of them from the F8x) but never had their stuff. After doing some research, looking into them really well and how the intakes looked I was hooked! And I am very happy and glad I got them.

They have been on my car for a good 8 months now almost and they have been the best $735 I’ve spent on the car.
They look amazing, fitment is perfect, quality is top notch.

And most importantly they sound AMAZINGGG!! These intakes make such a damn good sound I was instantly hooked and still am to this day. And the intake with my exhaust setup is like a match made in heaven to my ears, lol.

I personally didn’t opt for their intake covers as I wanted more noise and I will probably do their radiator cover in the future after more important things I have planned for the car later this year.
And FYI - the aluminum heat shields the intakes come with are very snug and protective of the intake from the engine and surrounding areas. Much better than I was expecting. So huge plus there!

Also - their customer service is top notch. You can easily talk to them via IG and they’re very responsive and helpful. Giselle has been who I’ve talked to on there numerous times and she’s been awesome. Big PLUS for that.
To note: they’re in Taiwan, so their hours of being active are usually later in the night. Like 8pm ish PST and beyond from what I’ve noticed.

Overall I give these a 10/10 and fully recommend if you don’t wanna spend a small fortune and want full CF Intakes!

Garage List
It's a pain to install, but go for the Autotecknic slam panel. It's a full replacement vs the layer on top that is the armaspeed.

It’s a far future thing if at all - I got way more other things planned for the car that are more important on the list any who.
But is something I will keep in mind at least.

Does it provide increased air flow volume? And horsepower increase. Or strictly cosmetic?

Definitely way more air flow. The intake tubes are enlarged to let more air in before sizing down to max fitment to fit no issues.

Car is more responsive and 100% gives more power and TQ.
S58 responds really well to mods.

Definetly interested aswell - looking to pair the intake with the MMX inlet elbows, very curious for the noise as Im personally not interested in front mounts
