M-Sport Brake Component Part Numbers (blue calipers

Looking for the M-Sport brake pkg part numbers. The one that was an option with the Dynamic Handling pkg, blue calipers & slightly larger rotors. Don't really need to go with the full M-Performance brake pkg for $2500, but would like to upgrade the anemic-looking stock brakes to the M-Sports. Thanks.

At these prices, I might as well just get the M Performance kit at $2500.

Did you find blue? All I saw was red. I got the m sport red but I'm wanting to swap for just blue calipers. Is that even possible? I've done so much googling and haven't found a thing

The M Performance set is only offered in red. If you are wanting blue you will have to purchase the M Sport set.

If your G2x has the front sliding calipers then you will need to upgrade the brake booster/master cylinder if you get the M Sport front calipers/rotors.

Note the "S2NHA/S3M2A = No" in this OEM retrofit kit - 2NH is the M Sport Brakes option, item "J" is the upgraded Booster:

I did see BMW offers the M Performance set with Red, Yellow, or Orange calipers. However, when I put in my vehicle it only populates the red 18" system - tho I have the M Sport pkg with 19" wheels.

Hasn't the g20 platform been out for a few years now, yet almost no parts site (including BMW) is updated to reflect accurate parts fitment for this car?

* reading the info at the link provided, it appears the rear calipers are the same for each pkg, but the rear rotor size is different. So then would I just need to purchase the front calipers, then 4 rotors? Would I need to upgrade the pads or will the standard pads work with any set of calipers/rotors?

G2x M Performance brakes are offered only in Red.
F3x M Performance brakes are offered in Red, Blue and Yellow. And the Yellow is more Gold than Yellow:

Gotcha - thanks!

Another question. Is there a reason the M Performance red calipers are significantly cheaper than the M Sport blue calipers?

M Sport brakes:
you would need front 4-piston calipers for 348mm rotors, rear 345mm rotors and brake booster. Rear calipers can be painted, no need to replace.

M Performance brakes: you would need front 4-piston calipers for 374mm dimpled or smooth rotors, rear 345mm dimpled or smooth rotors, and brake booster. Rear calipers can be painted, no need to replace.

I would suggest new low-dust pads with new rotors.

Note that calipers for 348mm rotors (blue in photo) are smaller than calipers for 374mm rotors (red in photo). They are not the same.

Interesting. The blue calipers are ~$300 more ea than the red. Seems more cost effective to purchase the entire M Performance brake kit than to just replace the front calipers/rotors, and rear rotors.

Based on this description would I need this part number 34112450161 (without the booster)?

For vehicles with
Energy recovery system
and
M Sport brakes
S1CEA=Yes

S2NHA=No
01 Retrofit kit for Sport brakes, red 18" M PERF.

Are your current brake calipers Blue?

If so then 34112450161 (no Booster) is the correct M Performance brake kit.

Otherwise, no Blue calipers in your car requires 34 11 2 458 884 (with Booster)
