Looks kinda cool. I don't think it's being shown on the best color for it though.

I'd take functional vents over light up windows on my hood any day. Wish they would have put the effort into cooling and Aero over more parking lot flexing.

This 1000%, especially if it were also CF and dropped 20 pounds?

There are tasteful ways to showcase an engine compartment with a see-through cover (see Ferrari 458). This is not one of them.
