The seats are crazy.

Kinda wish they did more CF stuff in the car but there is only so much weight they can reduce for a certain target MSRP.

From what I remember, even with all the weight reduction the csl is still around 3,600lbs…seems like it is still about 300lbs too much. I had 2013 c6 z06 with the z07 package and I believe that came in under 3,200lbs…a different car but ultimately both designed for the track. I actually think the ring times were almost identical…considering the z06 time was set almost 10 years ago, I would have thought the csl could have run closer to the 7 min mark. Still a cool car. Not sure about the price, but very cool.

Weight is relative to performance set up and relative speed. Based on the claim it's the "fastest BMW ever" I'm okay driving a big girl. Currently track a Camaro SS 1LE that tips the scales at 3,900 lbs and it's a blast!

I bet, the Camaro chassis is amazing. My brother had a zl1, amazing car.
It is. After years of racing SE30 and SE46 it's a major change. In track cars I prefer NA power. Every boosted car I've seen gets 2-3 laps and then starts suffering from too much heat.
