Chipped paint on door
Insurance wants to paint the whole door over for these small chips. They came from a door of another car at a parking lot. It would cost me 230 dollars. My concern is that when they paint the whole door over, it would be a slightly different hue than the rest? The garage uses original OEM paint.
Would it make sense to bring the car to a detailer who would just do a patch job for 50 bucks? The chips really aren't that big, is it really worth it to do the whole door over? |

Brits use lacquer to mean any kind of paint and or clear, so I think in this instance they mean touch up the rock chips then clear the entire door
