The front end of the G8X has been fairly controversial. I too didn't like it when I first saw it, but seeing it in person definitely changed my mind about it. And after seeing how the car can look when modified a bit - I was sold.

So I've added a bit of personal taste to the front end Vorsteiner's front grille, while spartan in its design (and let's be frank here, is pretty much the M4 GT3's grille in carbon fibre), does change it for the better. In tandem with the Vorsteiner front lip and the RK tunes front mounted intake - I think it looks mean as hell. I added RW Carbon's inlet/ducts to complete the look since I didn't spec the exterior carbon package from factory.

Big thanks to Steve from Euroklasse for the Vorsteiner goodies, and as usual, AutoCouture for installing everything perfectly. I really can't overstate how much those guys know what they're doing and make things just work. The Vorsteiner grille wasn't playing nicely with the intakes, but they made it work.

Enjoy the pics! First 10 were shot by AutoCouture showing off the front end. The rest are from a photoshoot before the front end mods where the photographers edited the shots so the car doesn't quite look like Dakar Yellow, but it's an artist's take on what they think looks good so who am I to judge.. sorry for the photo-overload. I just love the way my car looks when pros shoot it haha.

Front grill looks OEM + and I love that look.
Think you've got the whole thing perfect, I wasn't the biggest fan of yellow when you took delivery but now I see where you were going with it.

I fear builds are never complete! I have an SSK going in next week, possibly new steering wheel to match the Ivory, etc. But there isn't much left to do haha.

That's pretty unfortunate. I feel like the Vorsteiner grille really adds to the aggression and perfectly suits the front end. We require a plate in NY too but.. it's one of those things that if a cop is having a bad day or if you park on public roads, then you'll get ticketed for sure.

Absolutely! 6MT is the way to go. It got better after a few thousand miles but it's going to get better very soon with the SSK and CDV removal.
