G80 M3 - Riviera Blue - M Performance Parts installed

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
From the very start it was my aim to add some M Performance to my Riviera blue / Kyalami orange G80x M3 during the running in service.

I absolutely love the added look the carbon gives - BMW really have done a great job again on this platform.

Here are some photos:

Here are some install photos from the dealer:

Looks fantastic. The only thing I still can't get behind are the carbon flicks/canards.

Any thoughts on doing the M performance flow through spoiler? I still think it looks best on the M4 but I also think it could work here since you have the M performance exhaust.

It is a great color. Not sure I've seen that one before. Sometimes it's hard to tell how all the blues compare, but this one is certainly a winner.

Color is nice, but the the exhaust looks terrible and the flicks/canards need removed ASAP.

Idk... looks the same to me. The only differences appear to be because of differences in exterior lighting.

Wonder if bmw changed the code. Mine is p5c.
But looking at it again I guess they are the same . Must be the lighting and dark accents on yours making it look different. It's a super bright color in person. Very hard to photograph

I'm not the OP, but yeah, it's difficult to be sure.

I have a similar color - Enzian Blue. I recently got painted front reflectors from IND to replace the yellow reflectors. When I took the pieces out of the packaging, I was 100% sure there was a mistake and the color didn't match. But what do you know, when I took it right next to the car, the colors looked the same.

Variations in the intensity, color temperature and gradients in lighting play a huge factor in how these colors present themselves. Combined with how close some of these blues are, it's very difficult to discern what you're looking at.

Yes agree. Next to a Yas Marina it's not even close at all. Riviera is a very different color in person than any pic.

Love everything about this with the exception of that tailpipe configuration. I just can't seem to get past it.

Great car and upgrades! Aren't the M performance wheels a different size to the normal?

I'm new on here. It's not very user friendly. Lol. There isn't even a reply button. Just 2 sets of quotations. How do I reply without doing that?

It depends if you're on iOS, Android, or using a web browser.

Being that I don't have an Android device I can't comment on that but on an iPhone or iPad you click the pencil in the top right corner.

On a web browser, you scroll to the very bottom of the page and type your message in the message box and hit the "post quick reply" button.

Ok. I assumed that pencil on the top right was to post a new thread. I have an iPhone. Wonder what they don't just add an icon that says "reply". That would be so much easier for people like me. Haha

Side notes:

When you want to reply to someone's comment (not post) you have to quote them in order for them to get notified. To do that you press the two gray quotation marks " on the bottom right of their post.

If you want to quote multiple people you press the +" button on all the posts you want to reply to except the last one (use the regular quote button for that one).

If anyone you're replying to has a lot of images in their post, you can reply to them and then manually delete the image links using the "edit post" button.

Lastly, when you're replying to a post you can just comment on the post without quoting them and they will get notified of your response (unlike when you reply to another comment).

Hope that all made sense, happy posting.
