Bmw m performance spoiler

Hello all just bought my M Performance carbon spoiler. How do u remove the stock spoiler?

I believe it's held on with adhesive, so some fishing line/floss and light amount of heat from a heat gun will do the trick.

There's a thread for this under builds but this is what I said:

"Well if you don't want to get it done professionally (which I recommend) you'll need to get a thin sturdy string and "saw" underneath the lip spoiler to loosen up the glue. They sell special ones for this purpose. You'll be able to take off the spoiler after that. Then, you need to remove all the glue there (you can use different special car adhesive/glue removers which you can find at Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, etc.). Once you're done with all that (and the surface is smooth again) you can put the glue for the new one on, install the spoiler, and let it sit for ~24 hours to adhere."
