These lap times are never Apples to Apples, but look at other cars around the 7:30 mark.

7:32 - R8 V10
7:31 - 911 GT2 997, 2007
7:30 - SLS AMG GT
7:29.9 - C8
7:29.81 - Panamera Turbo
7:29.6 - Camaro ZL1 (not the 1LE)
7:29.03 - GT-R

Yeah, makes sense. First, to see a slammed "go anywhere" M3 with a ski-box on the roof, and then request for an M3 wagon without rails for the roof rack system.

It’s impossible to understand what you tried to write there. Next time try to break it up in multiple sentences. I don’t need a roof rack on my M3 but do want the additional trunk space this touring offers. Hence, having a “roof rail delete” option would be nice.

I just said that on one hand, people hopped on the bandwagon of cars with roof boxes on anything. A lifted Miata with roof box is as extreme as I've seen it yet. They now stick them onto anything like track focused M3s or M4s (because adventure I guess). You can see one on few posts below on front page.

And then more people like you wanting to delete roof rails from wagons because "looks" ignoring the whole practicality thing and reasons why they are there.

So, people want roof boxes on sedans, but want no roof rails on wagons. That's ok of course, but I just thought to point out the irony.

Would be nice to have a CF roof option too, but I seriously doubt the body style would support it. I'm sure they'll have the roof rail delete option everywhere but in the US, just like the SUVs
