G80 M3 Competition going for it around Nürburgring - awesome BTG lap

Even managing to bag a 992 as well as 29 other overtakes during the lap.

Reminds me of me taking the kids to school!

I miss those days!! Not the days of traffic like that!

Nice BtG times! My best in my E90 M was 8:15 and it always felt how this video looked! Brought me back to 2012

things I noticed:
1- great makeshift phone mount
2- camera placement shows the g-forces and bumps in action
3- love how slow cars park on the apex
4- about to throw up from the camera shaking

love the video

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

That is crazy. Reminds me of when I was a kid and played car racing video games on easy and would fly past the other cars

Very impressive driving.

The wheel-to-wheel traffic and speed differential there makes it look very sketchy. Especially the limit braking inside and high-speed overtakes. Just takes one guy not paying attention.

Oh and that first Porsche driver needs to be banned from the track.

I'm not going to lie, he is an amazing driver. I also think that he was driving way too aggressive and from the video, he had a lot of close calls.

Crazy a 4 door "family" sedan can go that fast on a race track. BMW has kept a pretty solid lock on that market share.

Like a video game. Doesn't even use the paddles. I'd rather go slower with a manual and RWD. Really good driving but doesn't look as fun as it could be…

He was shifting with the paddles. Naturally he won't theatrically let go of the steering wheel entirely and then slap them from behind, but you can pick up on his hand/finger movement, especially at entry as the video is less bumpy at that point.
