ACM | Fashion Grey + Fiona Red G80 M3 6MT

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
The long anticipated arrival of Marshall's Fashion Grey over Fiona Red 6MT has just arrived here from Maryland.

To start, we're addressing some aesthetics he wants changed immediately. We'll be tackling those while we wait for the other parts to be made and/or delivered. The full car will be given the paint protection film and ceramic coating treatment before it hits the road.

His last two cars were tastefully done (photos below) and this one should be no different. We'll be back in to post updates on the car as we move forward with the progress, but in the meantime, here's some photos in it's stock form for the first and last time.

His previous F80 (Performance BMW Magazine May 2018 car)

The F80 successor, 991 GT3

Updates on page 3!

Amazing how much the warm tones of Fashion become evident against the Brooklyn in the back of those photos. Seems fashion would be very close to Porsche chalk, while Brooklyn skews towards the blue end of the gray spectrum...is that a fair comparison?

Either way, beautiful color, and looking forward to the build.

Chalk is a derivative of Fashion with Fashion dating back to the '50's for Porsche.

I am a huge fan of Fashion and have wanted to do PTS with it for a long time. Well done on this build. Looks fantastic.

How can you tell he does not have it? You might be thinking about the driving assistance professional package that competition models can option, but the 6MT standard car cannot. That radar thing located on the front grille is a dead giveaway that a car is a competition model besides the badging.

If you're talking about the parking assistance package, there aren't any visual cues that I'm aware of that give it away. Besides, BMW removed it as an actual option for MY 2022 M3's with a 6MT, my CA had to put in a request after my order was put in because it wasn't part of my build sheet.

Can't wait for ACM to start on my car when it gets here!

I don't see a camera between the nostrils... I'm just poking fun about $8000 vs $800 options. I got parking assistance package on my '22 MT at time of order, highlighted it on the pricing sheet I handed to the CA.

Big deal. Maybe they dont need all the assistance to drive the car. Although, I am bias. I have a similar spec. Lol

And at order time for my 2022 it was not available, well not online. So some might have not known that you could have had it manually added by your CA, but this car is small enough where not needed anyways.

Yeah you're right, definitely much warmer than Brooklyn and it is a little warmer than Chalk also. We happened to have both side by being worked on, so I grabbed a couple pics

Looks awesome in the Fashion grey. Hopefully will still be there when I drop mine off so I can check it out. I see the gloss black pieces off on the rear are there carbon pieces to replace them? It looks kinda weird having the carbon diffuser and then gloss black sides.

The other black pieces are removed and out for paint as well.

Oh ok, going with body colored instead of the gloss black. Whats the turn around. I know dravit is a hard color to match with the flake. Ind nailed it on the engine cover I ordered from them.

Great combo!

I love any time I get the chance to stop by the garage too. Walking through there I'm always like a kid at Disneyworld lol.

Wasn't available first year in buckets. I'm so sad I couldn't get them.
