Love the seats. My gripe is the attachment points at the bottom. From the youtube install video (forte guy), its like they had to rig it or something if I recall. Plus the hardware is silver (stainless, zinc) which isn't a huge deal, but black or a different attachment method would be legit.

After taking a second look, it is not too jank, but would have liked it better if they could have utilized the OEM plugs or at least black hardware.

looks like the CF weave is going the opposite way as the CF on the dash... that would bother me if that's how it comes from the manufacturer...

I got these early on, I do agree on the mounting hardware. If they were atleast black it would be nice. The silver washer and screw is noticeable, I ended up spray painting the screw and washer to hide it.

Sounds like something I'd do. I'm so anal about this stuff, I'd probably pay to get the hardware cerakoted

I painted mine black also. If someone has the washer and bolt specs handy I would order some black hardware but at this point I'm too lazy to take it off to myself to measure.

Overall the quality and look of these is very good, my only complaint is that there is a slight gap between the carbon and the headrest, as they only attach from the hooks around the shoulder area and the 2 bottom mounts. The OEM seat backs have quite a bit of questionably necessary German engineering on the rear side which includes some sliding retention mechanism for the headrest which also permits the raising and lowering feature. With these the adjustable headrests still work but only because it isn't fit that tightly against them.

Loosen the two screws on the bottom, should fix that problem. I also had this issue.

In this video, I guess this was the prototype fitment but he mentions they would make it to utilize the factory plugs on the bottom. Guess it was a no-go.

I do wish the headrest was a bit more secured as well.

Garage List
I think if they release a 2 piece variety for the head rest function, I'm in. Any word on if that's coming out at some point?
