M4 G82 Akrapovic Evolution Line exhaust install

We had the rare opportunity to be the first in Australia to be able to showcase to the local market the new Akrapovic Evolution line Titanium exhaust system for a non OPF M4.

Upon opening the boxes it was clear that Akrapovic had once again produced an amazing product. We had the Evolution link pipe set, the Slip on Titanium rear section and those magnificent looking carbon tips. We also have the Akrapovic Diffuser and the Akrapovic Sound kit for flap control.

The installation was straight forward and the product was at a high standard as we expected. Personally, i really like the design of the exhaust tips, they really compliment the rear of the car.

We were happy with the tone of the exhaust while driving and expect it to change after a few kilometres have been put on the car as previous generation cars exhausts have done. The car is brand new and so is the exhaust so will be keen to hear what it is like in the near future.

Nice vids. One thing Ive always liked about Akra is their perfect fitment. Every install is always on point.

damn that sounds good. I love akra exhausts. Have it on my M5C and just got it installed for my 992 4S and they are worth every penny!

U.S. only offers short link mid and axelback. is this fully bolt on without cutting?

Link pipe says “Remapping is mandatory” on their website. Does anyone know what that means? Every video/comment I have seen doesn’t mention that aspect.
