Hey, starting a new thread here as I have not seen anything about this topic.

My g80 just entered production (status 150) but I got my hands on a list of current exclusions. For the G80 they mention no laser lights and no carbon bucket seats.

What are the chances I or we get our cars without these options if they were ordered during these exclusions?

No 360 camera or laser lights.... thats actually rough. I would honestly not order my car without those options. The laser lights just look better on the car imo and I find the 360 camera pretty helpful.

My Mexico blue G80 is currently in build week 50 and I actually am having my CA try to add the carbon buckets to my build now. I'm sure it'll impose a slight delay but I was able to try them and loved them. My car better have laser lights, the 360 cams, and carbon buckets!

Does anyone know what this stressful post really means??

If my car shows up without laser lights and the 360 camera they can keep it, if these items are dropped from someone's specific order it should with out fail be communicated before production.

I can do without the lights but if they drop my carbon seats I am out. That's the whole reason I sold my rwd. I wanted a custom order with the carbon buckets.

Where did you get that list from and how old is it?

Got this from a sales person and its up to date from what I understand.

I wish I can answer that question. I think the dealer will know once the car gets charged to them

Keep in mind, exclusions can be market specific. This Canada exclusion list may or may not be relevant for other countries

I guess cross the Canadian/American Border to Order your G08/82 with Laser Lights and 360 Camera, if that was the case.

No laser lights will be a deal breaker for me.

Hopefully we get more insights on the options which are excluded for specific markets.

I just received a reply from my [SoCal] CA on this and he said last option delete update from BMW was for the 228i Gran Coupe (no LED lights & adaptive cruise control). My week 46 build (11/18 production start) is unaffected so it seems I'll get to keep the Laserlights and the Parking Assistance Package (I didn't option the carbon buckets.)

I’m week 47 in the US. Just called and verified no laser lights or carbon buckets were or will be removed from my build.

I'll be contacting my sales person next week to confirm. If 360 camera exclusion turns out to be true, they can keep the car.

Edit : wireless charging is on the list, too.

wireless charging was removed from all 2022 G80/82, it's not a recent exclusion

Spoke to my dealer yesterday and he said all parts on my build are showing available. I have not hit 150 status yet but he doesn't anticipate any deletions.

I'm on a wait list but am currently following what's going on and I went to BMWUSA and built another to see if anything has changed. It looks like wireless charging is back as an individual option for $500.
