accessories???

Has anyone heard if all weather floor mats will be available when we pickup the cars? I am assuming the cars come with typical carpet floor mats which unless you never leave your garage seems like something I would like to swap out before driving off the lot.

Since this will be my first BMW, I was wondering if anyone had advice on a protector for the key fob? The genuine BMW ones seem pricey and poorly made for the money. There seem to be several leather options on Etsy for around $30 without trying to wade through the garbage listings on Amazon.

Any other must have accessories anyone can suggest?

I agree 100% on all weather floor mats, that will be my 1st purchase; use in all my vehicles 90% of the year

The first thing I put in all our cars. Weather Techs and the BMW brand in the last 240.

Accessories and aftermarket mods are always a headache with new models. A lot of research and a bit of luck.

Yep, agree on the all-weather mats. I think Ill keep the BMW branded ones from my F30 (not molded) and try them in the G42 before spending additional money.

I've been driving BMWs for a while and have never had an issue with the keyfob getting beaten up, and I'm not overly careful either.

I wonder if the driver and passenger floor pan is identical in the g42 to the g20 so we could use 3 series floor mats for at least the front seats?

Thanks. They added a bunch of new stuff since the last time i looked. This confirmed the 5x112mm floating hub caps too.

In addition to the floor mats and other things mentioned, I need a way to mount my radar detector. Preferably under the rear view mirror. I'm hoping the mirror is the same part as used on other recent BMWs so I'll be able to find something.

I plan on doing this too! Lmk if you find anything, the mirror stem looks to be the same as other Gxx BMWs
