If anyone is looking to mod the exhaust I highly recommend my boy Alex at Avior performance. He custom fabricated the x pipe using stainless steel (none of that pre fab stuff from China) and did an awesome job at it. He's done a few g80s so far and is currently looking to produce a bolt on kit.

Alex did the exhaust on my R8 V10 several years ago and to this day, it was the best sounding exhaust I've had. Better even than the exhaust system on my 458 Italia. I'm definitely going to contact him once I receive my M3.

Is the sound clip of just the x pipe mod and the standard m3 exhaust? Or is there other performance items added to the car?

Factory exhaust with both res removed with xpipe welded. Only mod I have is cold air intakes.

I will have to stop by and check this place out. My M3 is currently being built and once it gets here I will be wanting to "fix" how quiet this exhaust comes from factory as soon as possible.

I’m a member here guys. I charge $600 all in, exhaust comes off, proper TRUE Xpipe is fitted and TIG welded in. None of those Amazon xpipes here. It can be same day pickup but does take about 5-6 hours.

Wow this post is from 2021 and I still get people messaging me about it. We've done countless of these mods now. Currently doing a Frozen Blue G80 so I'll make sure we get some vids of it to post on here.
