Has anyone installed the DINAN DUAL EXHAUST VALVE REMOTE Part #R660-0002 or -0001? On the Dinan page it does not show up under applications for the 40i. however after reaching out, the G05 40i Drive that I have does use the actuator 18-30-8-686-640 that is listed on the website and they said it should work. I am surprised they have not really done much with the 40i X5 version.

I am looking for economical ways to add the soul back to my 21 X5 40i. I prefer not to spend the 4 grand for a new exhaust system.

Don't understand what's the difference between using Bimmer link or Carly, open the exhaust valve unplug fuse 203. Or just Bimmer link if you like to manually change open/close.
Can you please explain?
