I think if I owned the Mustang (bite my tongue) that I wouldn't own a Mustang. It's literally probably the only car I just hate and would never want any part of, and that goes for anything Ford. But I would be pissed off if my car got it's ass handed to it like that. The last run was impressive, but it should be obvious with 50% more power.

I've owned two GT350's. Loved them both, it's a great car. After I ordered my M4 and my wife saw it. First thing out of her mouth was it looks a little like your 350.

Would love to have a drive in both, but in my eyes at least, the Mustang is better looking.

Just a shame there's no useable space in the back.

i'd take a ford product over a GM product any day of the week though. at least ford makes some kind of effort to hide their cost cutting, im pretty sure GM wears it like some kinda badge of honor.

You guys know way back in the day BMW's M division was started by Ford engineers… These new mustangs obviously don't have the fit / finish and materials of a BMW but they are right there side by side and sometimes better these days on a track and I don't mean a drag strip.

Eh, the C8 is better than anything Ford has ever produced, not including the New Ford GT. I see that as more of a grassroots platform, and not even really a Ford. My M4 order came out to over $103K, and I still passed up on the C8. I was all about it, and followed it, intently, But after I sat in one, it just reminded me too much of my C7, and I slowly let my love for it, drift into the shadows. Now I do think that GM has something coming with the new Z-06. I may need to get one just listen to the engine.

Yeah, I was hoping they compared them on track too. Standing start 1/4 mile is not so relevant to how I drive a car, but handling balance is.

Yup, the mustang is my most hated car ever. Maybe it's more the people behind the wheel who ruin them. From the obnoxiously V8 exhaust to the vapeing eco boost cool guys blow off valve, gross. I didn't get my M3 to be unique or special in any way but the last time I saw one similar to mine was a few months ago and that's sort of nice in a way. Today I saw 3 mustangs identical to each other at a stop light. Probably saw at least 10 total today on the street. I couldn't care less if they are faster than my BMW because at the end of the day I'm not the one driving a Ford.

Well 760 vs 560 roughly is still a huge difference

Drag race GT500 siding really gain on m4, now Throw in awd launch and take that 3s 0-60 that was posted in another thread and 1/4 mile 760 hp Gt500 Will see tail lights of the m4 far far ahead

Agreed, then you're seeing AutoTopNLs car with the RaceChip, with 650 wheel, and that's a base model. Although, I don't think there is any difference in the motor, except the manuals, are probably just detuned.

For example, my 21 Honda Accord Touring, has the 2 liter Civic Type R motor, in it. Civic 306HP, Accord 252HP, but even being the same motor, the Accord has a smaller Turbo, and the cams are different.

I think the M3 vs the M3 Comp is just detuned. Not smaller turbos and different cams.

760hp on 2 wheels and they wonder why the mustang can't hook up.

Once you get above 600hp, you need some kind of AWD assist- simple as that. That or move the engine over the rear wheels...

I did a 2 day racing school in the C8 and it was noticeably better than the old M4 on the track, and I'm a biased BMW guy. You give up rear seats and it lacks the top end of the new M4, but it's very quick 0-60. I clocked 3.1 with the on board timing on a dirty track.

The Z06 will be a monster. I probably still wouldn't buy one, as I'd get a used GT3 or new GT4 at that price, but it is a great bang for the buck.

I haven't driven a Mustang in any form since the early 2000s and they were terrible. I'm sure these new GT cars are light years ahead.

I may be tempted to get an LCI G80 M3 in a couple of years.

There's just going to be something about that flat-plane crank orchestra that gets me. I've watched all of the sneak peak videos, and it just sounds amazing. I would drive it at highway speed with the cruise control on, just to hear the exhaust note.

They are all over the place. I definitely didn't buy my BMW to be special, or be an ascot wearing BMW driver. I got it for the looks, and performance. And I got more than I bargained for, with this 0-60 on the new xDrive. That ended up just being a bonus. I was surprised how small the M4 was, when I sat in it, though. Its Honda Civic sized, inside.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with ranking and monetization. Longer videos will show up higher and longer videos can have ads in the middle or throughout.. which = more $$$$.
