Anyone else waiting on Active mid-pipe? I think price point will be around smiler as others. From their insta post should be coming out soon.

I've been waiting for this. I had their mid-pipe on my F80 and loved it. Supposedly coming out in a month.

Waiting to see what they release before deciding between that and possibly the valvetronic. Will probably go mid pip first and see how that is before deciding on replacing the muffler section too.

I did get my mid pipe last week for the F82. I told the place I ordered it,if didn't show by August 1st to cancel it. It amazingly showed up July 30

Only a couple days late from the April 15th scheduled delivery date. I really hope If you guys order 1, it's not anything like that. Or,put it on your Christmas list and it may just show upon time.

they were the first to offer the single midpipe which was a huge upgrade over the stock one

Then offered the equal length which got even more popular than their single design

Active offered the 2 top midpipe designs for the F8x , thats why everyone is waiting to see what they can do with the new platform

Thank you for the info. I have some catching up to do ive been a porsche guy more recently and this is my first M car. Gonna try the psi one for now as i like true x pipe designs in general. The Active stuff sounds good too i watched some vids of their f8x stuff

I ordered my AA mid from Mike for my F80. Great experience. Even though active sent me a M2C mid pipe the first go around lol but were quick to send me the right one. With the current delays I would probably only order one this go around if they instock and ready to ship.

Had the single AA midpipe on my f82. Loved it.

If they come out with another single midpipe for the G80, won't it sound just like the valvetronic single mid? That's currently the best sounding IMO.

At that point the only difference would be in price which I'm sure AA would be significantly lower.

Why do you think it'll be significantly lower?

The F80 one is still $1500+

Everything seems to be expensive. PSI is similar price. Supersprint is a bit cheaper for the first customers but also a similar price point

I can see them coming down eventually but materials cost is up and general inflation on labor etc, these price hikes seem to be across the board and will stay as long as demand is high and supply is low

It will not be cheap, for G80 gen we all will be paying M tax for sure. At least for quality products. Cheaper ones will be eventually available.
