So, I decided to go for the car that’s coming in July. It’s an M4C and I know its Brooklyn Grey with Kyalami Orange bucket seats. Trying to figure out the rest based on just receiving the spec sheet. Not sure exactly what the wheels will look like in terms of colour, or exactly what the interior will be like. Perhaps surprise is a good thing…

They are throwing in some free side steps for my X7 as a sweetener.

Now time to start counting the days…although I dont have a specific date yet.

So my dealership received their allocation of 4 cars, one being my Brooklyn Grey on Kyalami. I checked to see whether they were all sold and they also had an IOMG with carbon buckets and Kyalami extended interior. So I switched. Went to see it today but have to wait until 19th to pick up.

The spec you get here is fixed (other than exterior and interior colours) but there were a few changes on this allocation compared to their listed spec that even the dealership didnt notice. Good thing is its all still the same (ridiculous) price. Included on this car as extras are driving Assistance Professional, carbon fibre interior package, BMW Display key (what a waste of money), black M compound brakes, Automatic trunk Lid mechanism. The only downside is that it came with PZero corsas rather than the Michelins. There’s also an option called “Decoding Additional Functions”.

On my way out I saw the BG car I was originally planning to take - and it DID have the Michelins with the same wheels. So I’ve asked them to swap the wheels over. Let’s see. Turns out it was built April 2021 - much later than I expected.

Now just counting the days until pickup…

Congrats! IOMG with the KO full leather interior is gorgeous. Post more photos once you've been able to take it home later this month.
