M3 with Fine Line Wood Trim

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I figured since I'm the only one that ordered the car this way I throw up some pics.

I also was wondering if it's possible to change the default settings permanently (normal drive mode). I like the throttle response to be consistent so I'd rather it just be on sport plus all the time

Nice. Looks like it should be easier to maintain than the glossy stuff which gets all dusty and scratched

It's beautiful, makes me want to change my Tetragon for this, it definitely feels richer and more alive.

I'm glad you guys like it. The tetragon looks good too. I pretty much assumed I was the only one that didn't get the CF.

Garage List
I didn't think I was going to like it but I really do. I wonder if it would work well with other color interiors? I think part of what makes it work as good as it does for you is the color combo inside. If it was lighter it might not?

So many of the leather options are two tone with the black so you probably can get away with many of them

I was considering it but the build site warns about adding up to 10 weeks to the build time. How long did it take for you?

Very cool! Way to opt for something different! Reminds me of my open-pore fine oak wood grain trim on my M340i.

This one one HUGE gripe I always had with the e92 M3, it comes with seriously cheap plastic trim vs the nice black wood grain I had on my old 328i e92.

Although that does look much much better, the wood pattern on the cupholder part vs the center console looks absolutely horribly matched. It doesn't even look like the same type of trim.

I agree with you. It doesn't match the rest of it. I think the center console pattern is the nicest

Nope, you aren't alone - my HEA car has the Tetragon trim. I quite like it.

I love wood in the cabin, even in M cars.

Love the fine line wood trim, I'll be ordering that in my X3.

It's hard to say how much it actually added. I ordered Early Jan and got the car April 17 and had two weeks of PPF and coating.

You're not the only one! At first I was a little disappointed with the amount of silver highlights in the finish. But I love the open pore look and as I've spent more time in the car I think it would be too bland without the silver (went for standard black seats as well).

I appreciate that BMW have offered this option, aluminum and carbon everything is becoming so commonplace these days

Congrats on the new ride!
