G05 40i resonator delete

Hi!

I'm interested in deleting the resonator on my 2019 G05 40i. Has anyone done this to 40i? Already did an exhaust hack with pulling the fuse and now I need more sound…
Anyway, do you have some video with the results?

out of curiosity, does 45e exhaust sounds the same as 40i due to it has less horse power on the gas engine?

Correct me if i'm wrong but It's the same gas engine in both 40i and 45e. Just 45e gets extra HP from the electric one. Would think sound is the same or even lower on the 45e. I drove both when I was buying but didn't notice a huge difference in engine sound but you do hear an common ev sound along side

BMW downgraded engine on 45e, it has 286 horsepower vs 340 on 40i.

Did you end up doing this. I'd love an aftermarket exhaust, but $3k for some extra noise is nuts. I don't really believe any more power can be expected out of an exhaust without an applicable tune. And I'm not in it for the power. Just want more noise. Nothing ricey, but on par with the M Performance exhaust.

Any thoughts?

Still need to do the exhaust hack with the fuse pull.
