No, the “M Performance Air Breather” is the worst thing ever. It’s just a tacked on fake “gill”, that is meant to simulate a gill/vent/air extractor.
This car looks like Clark Kent got tired of Lois Lane saying that he looks like Superman, and so he decides buy an M4, gets it painted in Superman colors, adds some M Performance Parts on it, and then trolls Lois with it. Last edited by IS3andME; 05-10-2021 at 12:35 AM.. |

Are you guys judging this as a street car? Or track? If this is a car built for the track, then I can dig it.. If it were just a car I saw on the street strictly built for looks then I would pass.

It's a track car meant to stand out (on a f*cking track) that people are using to vent their frustrations about the grilles.

just wait when the CSL/CS is released in a year or two and people complain all over again. I can (kinda) understand people that have bought m3 after m3 after m3 that are very disappointed because they have to look elsewhere because subjectively they cant stand the styling. However, that is not the case with most of the complainers.

I see two options for the steering wheel:
1. The entire wheel itself ~$1K 2. M Performance Steering wheel cover in carbon fiber/Alcantara ~$500 The description of the cover is garbage. Can anyone explain how the cover works? I'd love to pay half to get an alcantara wheel with heating but don't understand what this part "covers". |

Add a frozen black wrap and you're done.

That is a seriously amazing paint job. So much work went into that.
I would have liked more full shots of the car to really see the lines of the spoiler. Wheels look amazing. Not a fan of the rear diffuser and exhaust. Rest of it looks pretty cool though, especially if it's for a specific racing class.

Having said that, if they reworked the front to be more palatable, and toned down the whole winglets and exhaust cluster situation (why is 2 exhaust too little?) - then we are good. I disagree. Gold wheels are awesome. On blue subarus. On brown or white porsches. On red Ferraris. And on Black BMWs. Etc.. They can work and give a much different look. I like this.
