Searched for this as best I could with few results.

Not a fan of the standard aluminum tetragon.

Interested in the similar BMW Individual finishers aluminum fabric high-gloss trim (option XED) but few pictures exist. I found just this one below.

If anyone has ordered this, I'd appreciate you sharing some additional photos and your first-hand impressions.

Trying to decide if it's really worth a $1080 premium over standard trim.

I am asking because I also searched for it but decided to stay with Tetragon that fits more with the mat finish of the M/T shifter being also kind of mat finish.

To me the Fabric is kind of the same finish/quality as the carbon fiber so if you like it, you can't really go wrong.

Answering my own question, I think the IOMG press car had this interior trim, and I found a hi-res photo on the BMW Press page.

Nothing like reopening a 5 month old thread..

If you dont spec the carbon interior, the carbon paddles are like $500 alone.

I'm really beginning to feel that the Carbon fiber trim is overplayed

and in a black interior, the mesh might help lighten up the feel & look of it

For those who don’t know. Without the carbon fiber interior you won’t get the carbon paddles/steering wheel trim. I definitely wouldn’t pass on it.

Has anyone replaced their OEM trim? I got my 2023 M3 Base M/T and I'm not feeling the Aluminum Rhombicle Anthracite. There are some eBay stores selling carbon replacements (some are stick ons) but I'm wondering if there is a place to buy OEM or high quality trim replacements. It seems like a manageable change. I really like the aluminum individual trim, but when I ordered they said it could add months to the build, and there was no way of seeing the base aluminum up close so I just left the base option. It's not terrible, but it doesn't look great.

Anyway, anyone know of a way to buy OEM or high quality trim for a 2023 M/T base? Either the aluminum or even better matte carbon (that one wasn't a build option).

The matte carbon trim is available from a number of vendors like IND, Baum, Paddleshifterz, etc.

Thanks! I found the matte black carbon fiber trim on IND and AutoTecknik for $1,400. I am trying to confirm if it will fit the 2023 M3 with the new iDrive 8 change. I can't tell if the dash trim changed from 2022 to 2023 with the new iDrive.

Posting the results for anyone who comes across this. The matte black carbon fiber does not (currently) fit the manual transmission. The shape of the cutout for the automatic shifter is slightly different. The alcantara knee pads also don't fit. Perhaps they will make a version for the manual in the future, but I doubt it. Those of us upholding the tradition of the manual gearbox bear a heavy burden.

For reference, I'm talking about this part. It looks fantastic and the folks at getBMWparts had it on sale. They were very understanding when it didn't fit so a thumbs up for them.
