G80 M3 Initial Track Impressions

We were invited down to try out the G80 M3 at the historic Goodwood Race Circuit. Hope to get our own car to a more familiar circuit soon.

I was among those disgusted by the G80 at first, saw it in person and quite liked it.

Now in that colour it looks absolute fire. Patiently waiting for LCI to order one now

The aggressiveness of the M3/4 makes the grill palatable. It's the standard 4-series grill that hurts the eyes.

I was at the Philip Island Circuit (Melbourne AUS) earlier this month and did a few laps each with the G80 (IOMG) and 82 (BG). Not a seasoned track driver but could tell these machines were very capable and well planted! And carbon bucket seats proved their true worth on the track, It was snug!

IMO darker colours are best suited for these cars.

You did well out there Imran, and that TR is beautiful! Was the M4 individual gray-black, or was that dravit?

Thanks! The other one was Dravit Grey. It has a lot of gold hues in it when the light hits it.
