Question on plastic piece that came off

Today I had this plastic piece pop off. I can put the piece back in, but it doesn't seem very secure. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen. Thanks in advance.

Mine came loose a few months ago. Popped it back into place and it hasn't come loose since. Doesn't seem too secure either. Believe it is the tow hook cover.

Agree, heard a couple of stories where it popped off, just need to put back on and hope it stays. Maybe some doublesided tape?

Mine does this every so often. It was hanging off when the vehicle was backed off of the enclosed carrier when it was first being delivered. I simply push it back on and move on.

I would recommend attempting a permanent fix for this. Perhaps a small piece of double sided tape?

Ended up losing mine and now needs to be replaced. Don't think they are too expensive but still.

Thanks for the responses and the link to the other thread. This is an annoying design.
