Brooklyn Grey G82 M4 Walk Around Video
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Would be rude not to get some content on it! We have just filmed a driving video at the UK press day which will go live tomorrow at 11.01pm UK time so watch out for that. |

The subtle colors never appealed to me for this car but I keep going looking at BG with the contrasting black and it does look sharp. Agree with him about the spoiler... just doesn't seem in the right proportion to the size of the side skirts, and other plastics / diffuser not to mention it's a pretty big car. Seems a little lost and perhaps just needs to be a bit taller.

To each their own, and to each their choice to option the lower trim in body color por favor!

I'm trying very hard to like this car other than the technical specs. And yes, I understand wanting to stand out from other brands. But imo this was a BIG swing and a MISS by the BMW design team.
Hopefully, some reputable company can come up with a new front facia.

Great design review Imran I agree with everything you said, what struck me though is the car looks modded out in factory spec barring a ride height change which is a new thing for BMW.

I first I thought the gentleman in the video was wearing a dress. Seems like it's just a very long hoodie!

seems like all the design controversies historically eventually have grown on me as I become more familiar.
I'm with the reviewer here. I keep wanting to get over it... and I don't think its the worst thing ever... but it is not growing on me even a little and its just enough to keep me from buying one. Maybe the wagon version will get me over the hump in a couple of years... M wagon may be worth some questionable styling. |

BG color is yet another great choice for those of us who like shades of grey. Wish Glacier Silver came back at some point.

Nice commentary on the car and finally one with the 825 wheels. They look good on that color. I'm not sure if it's just the lighting for the video, but the color makes it look kind of washed out. You can't see the hood like indentations at all. Also, cleaning the car before filming the video would have been good.

Ever since this car/grill came out, I have noticed the grills on the Lexus, Audi, Alfa Romeo and others. They are all huge. That doesn't excuse this grill from BMW but it's clear that big grills are here for now... however long "now" is.
While I still don't love it, I think some of the hate will go away as these become the norm on BMW and on every other car. |
