AR DP installed
Just went for a drive in my f32 xdrive afyer installing AR design catted DP. The install was fairly easy.
I had it all together, midpipe to DP bolted and DP to turbo bolted but redid it just to make sure it was seated properly and will not leak. I did end up with a sore and scratched wrist from sticking my hand through the wheel well to maneuver and tight the V clamp. That was a PITA. Probably spent 30 mins messing with the that clamp. And my neck is sore as hell lol but worth the time. |

I took part in the installation process. First, we tightened DPs to mid-pipes and then DPs to turbos. They have 1.5-2mm clearance between each other. Vibration caused by the exhaust, while increasing revvs. Don't think they touch each other because in this case, I would have heard a metallic sounds. Thinking now of wrapping them with termal cloth)

You definitely notice a difference with a sport cat installed. I put one on a few weeks ago. The car is faster. Throttle is lighter. There are lots of threads about downpipes in the engine section to read. Essentially, everyone who does this mod is happy with the result.
