Again, this shows the new target audience for the G8X. Instead of putting the car in the hands of proper drivers for proper driving reviews, they prioritize social media image makers. BMW ///M R.I.P.

My friend, there's no way in hell this was authorized by BMW. This is something that went down in a dealership parking lot.

Covid is the only reason we either don't have (or won't have for some time) true driving reviews.

she has almost 33 million facebook followers and 5 million subs on YouTube, if they are trying to tease bit by bit, her channel is a good outlet to do so. dont hate the player hate the game...

the european spec with OPF def doesnt as good as the cars straightpipes filmed a while ago.. no pops and crackle in this

People are lumping the marketing in with the engineering, like the people who comprise the two teams have ever even congregated in the same room.

People are upset about the grilles and weight gain and are attacking anything and everything they can about the brand. Just my opinion. In any event, we are all talking about it.

Flasch has said very little technicaly about the car thus far. I've been patiently waiting but to no avail, which leads me to believe they've got little to show or talk about. As far as the tech goes, there's nothing new (save for AWD for those that it interests) and the G8X is actually a step backwards in terms of weight reduction effort. The brand isn't dead, but what it used to stand for slowly is.

Yea, come to think about it, it's pretty odd we are not bombarded with facts and data, on the new model. Very un-BMW like..

Based on the design, which I would say is trying a little too hard to make it physically stand out, I believe you're right; they is nothing about this new model to really move the needle, so to speak..

Time will tell. Let's give it another 2 months and then, given your technical knowledge, I'm quite interested to hear what you have to say.

I can't help but think you and everyone is trashing BMW primarily because of the design changes but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
