It really does look better in all black regardless of M3 or M4. Too bad that it doesn't look good in every color.

Black, Davit, Tanzanite will look good for people that are unsure of the grilles. Black if you hate the grilles, makes them disappear.

One of the very few cars that look better in a dark color

The rear window seems to have a dark tint.

The car does look good in black with the standard trim, hiding the lower black high gloss valence might be a plus.

It still has some decent presence a rainy and gloomy autumn day

I thought IoM was my favorite color on the G80, but now I'm beginning to question that. Brooklyn Grey or Black, with Kyalami Orange carbon buckets would look great.

Lined up like that I wish all had the silver wheels on the Frozen Portimao. It’s the by far best looking car but I guess it’s purely due to the wheels, and it’s the only one not lens distorted to the eleventh degree. Brooklyn looks pretty sad next to it.

Agreed the brighter alloy wheels look best on most cars. I hope black has about run it’s course, like chrome did before it. I agree too that so many of the photos we see are distorted to the max.

The all black car looks scary aggressive, but I am actually liking many of the colors and the contrast of the black grill and trim.

Have to agree GOLFFRR , but I would opt for silver instead of black wheels.

Black looks good. Someone will make aftermarket grills that will make it look better in the center.

Matte black will look awrsome

Or we all just wait for the LCI where BMW will improve the looks of the front and knock off 200 lbs.

For an LCI? Not likely.. especially the weight loss... maybe a CS(L) they'll drop the weight.

If it's anything like the F8x cars, LCI "#1" for the M3 will give it new tail lights and LCI "#2" for both the M3/M4 may give it new headlights with the hockey stick DRLs like the M5 LCI.

Yeah, not much hope for weight reduction in the LCI, I cant recall that has ever happened. What we do have instead is more than a hint that the G8X will add a mild hybrid system, that could be an additional 50 lbs or so.

To me, that surprisingly the standout of the picture. Also thought they looked great on the protytpe test cars.

Frozen Blue, Kyalami orange, red calipers and 2 tone base wheels looks really good.
