Wow, that is one muscular looking car. Very wide rear. Promising.
Thanks Jason! At a 2nd look the lines are very much like a baby 8. Last edited by solstice; 12-06-2019 at 03:04 AM.. |

This looks really good so far. I thought that I'm done with coupes and absolutely love the practicality of the sedan, and in the case of the F80/F82 I liked the limousine this time also optically better.
I'm only a bit afraid that the leg- and headroom could be pretty limited. If it's like 8er coupe, then I'd had to pass on the M4. |

It would look perfect if headlights were actually that small.
And that huge exhaust sticking out from the bottom in the back is also ridiculous. No wonder why m3/4 sound so bad out of gate.... Otherwise the car profile looks very nice to me.

It's a shame they reintroduced that horrible floating rear brakecaliper. Glad to see the exhaust is less saggy, some nice exhausttips too. Really exited about those new sportseats we've saw before.

I'm wondering why they didn't cover the lower right side of the "grill" and not the left side, maybe they want us to speculate about the curved line we see through ?

Yes, they will be different from the G20. They will be the same ones used on the G22 (and G23 and G26). Its been this way for the past few generations - the coupe and sedan have different styling, including the lights.

The reason why the f80 has more hips is that the 4er body is wider as the 3er body, although they have the same axles so obviously they had to make the f80 wider to carry the same axle as the already wide 4er coupe.

I get you, but the F82 looked eerily similar towards the rear compared to a regular 4 series. Paying premium dollar for a mild difference where its an area where you want the most aggressiveness is a tough call.

Looks promising soo far. More like the old 6 series now in size now.
Even if it gains a bit of weight (hopefully it doesn't), it'll probably still be lighter than E92 but pack a significant punch with that S58 and have more space/features. Its a WIN WIN.
