Anyone know the official "Release Date" ?
Seems to be a moving target. Press release posted here claimed April production and at the dealers in May. Then some postings on the net about a June, July or August date at the dealer since it is a 2020 model. My dealer originally thought he would have the first one in May....now he does not know....

I have a confirmed production date of Week 28, so July 8th. This is much later than what I needed so I will end up being car less for several months and need to figure something out to bridge the gap. Pretty disappointed in that. (I sold my M3 before I deployed.. in hindsight I would have just kept the F80 M3 and waited for the G80 M3, but the deployment was very short notice and I made a bad snap decision)
Also, I will not get the M Seat Belts, they were delayed until possible Sep availability. Additionally, the M Carbon Exterior Package moved from being available in Aug to available in Dec. though I never planned on waiting for that despite being interested in it.

At least it is still track worthy. But, don't want to get rid of my 997.1 C4S.

But, I also need a new project car soon. Well, we'll see I guess.
