Ceramic Brakes CCB in a daily driver
Are there any drawbacks to the CCB (besides the price) for daily driving? Daily driving can include very fast driving on the Autobahn, but no race track use.

no drawbacks. in fact price wise they likely pay for themselves. as long as you are not tracking them then they should last much much longer than standard steel. if run at very high temps, like tracking, they will wear quickly, but with relatively normal driving they may last more than 10 years - BMW claims life of the car:

In most cases but, In cold climate they perform worse then steel
Temperature like here in WI or Canada that can go 30 below zero is worthless ( obviously only in winter which is 1/2 year ) there is no advantage whatsoever. Just waisted money!!! Great for hot climates like Arizona, or you track the car.

My 2019 is my first car with CCB. I won't go back. Not washing the brake dust off the wheels every week is a plus for a daily driver. Also, no squeaking at every red light. I think CCB are more important as a daily driver
