Will be installing my S55 spark plugs this weekend anything I need to know?

Just picked up a set of s55 spark plugs from my BMW dealership (Part number 12120039634) and am planning to install them in my 2015 328xi this weekend. I have a JB4, on map 1 but am planning to upgraded my downpipe and use map 2. I have not experienced any detonation issues but I'm at 43K miles and I think BMW recommends changing the plugs on the N20 every 30K miles anyway.

Anything I need to know about the install other than to regap the plugs to 0.02?

I have searched on this subject but wanted to make sure there is no new information.

Nope! Pretty straightforward install. The typical gap is going to range from 0.018 to 0.02 for higher boost applications, so you're on the right track.

Is there any reason to gap .018 vs .02?

The difference is minimal, so I wouldn't fret. I was told to do 0.018 by PTF when I was getting tuned and what I currently run.

They are colder plugs, which are needed when you push more power.

Just as an update, this was an easy install. I changed the plugs for m the bimmer and my wife's mini van. The van was twice as complicated.
