Exhaust options

I'm hoping someone can give me a little guidance before fork over a ridiculous amount of cash for something that'll be mostly cosmetic or just give up lol.

So I'm looking for exhaust options or ideas. I honestly dont want to change out my entire exhaust system, my car came with the BMW performance exhaust. I just wanted the twin outlets but I've only come across the Remus exhaust system's that come with them. Because im happy with my exhaust note already combined with the catless DP i dont really want to fork out 12 bands for an entire system.

So i tried to just get Tips.... that went super wrong the mechanic put them on and cut my tail pipes but mounted the tips just short of the slight bend in the pipe and the tips ended up sticking waaaaay out... (-__-) i was digusted when i arrived to see my car and him missing. I'll add pics but i removed those immediately in the parking lot next door. Has anyone ever found a cheaper solutions to getting dual tips? I already have the diffuser thats sized for twin outlets so its really something i wanted to do.. Any suggestions would be welcome (Other than get over it and stay with what i have)

I know.... that was a terrible look... im lucky the joints werent welds, they have a slide in bolt at the top you use to tighten around where it joins. So i was able to take them off in the parking lot, good thing too, cause i was gone get it towed home lol. It just looked to ridiculous

Either the person who put them on has bad tastes on exhaust tip fitment or does not know what they're doing. If you payed by credit card, your company should protect you and just give them a call and say you are not satisfied. You should be able to get your refund or get the tips the way you want.

Also keep in mind that the tips might actually be too long. If I remember correctly my, 6-7 inch tips will fit perfectly.

Look up pictures with people with Cyba's tips. In my opinion, the length is just right. 6-7 inches is the sweet spot with OEM mufflers.

Our stock exhausts have 2.25 pipes so you can either get 2.25 inlet or 2.5 inlet. The shop can use different techniques depending on what size you pick. You might want to double check this information since it's been awhile for me.

Haha. Sorry, I was trying to be dirty there for a minute. Apparently I got too much sun in Weirs Beach, NH.

I know hindsight is 20/20 But I would never leave a car to get exhaust tips welded on then come back to pick it up. Luckily the shop I use allows me to go into the bay area and see a mockup of what the exhaust is gonna look like before they go at it.

I'm sorry this happen hopefully you can get your money back or get them re-done at no cost.

Cyba tips are over priced I got some double wall tips from ebay for 30 bucks a piece and they have held up nice.

Yeah, they should not be like that at all!

Here's some of mine when I had mine done years ago.

Yikes! I'd go back and ask them to redo that. That just looks horrible, I'm amazed the guy just left it like that. Anyways I think Cyba has some pretty nice quad tips that doesn't break the bank. I believe you can find them in the vendors section.

Wow I wouldn't even taking the car with them out that far, how you don't trip on them going to the truck I don't know ;/ LOL.

I not a fan of quad tips , but something I was looking at( I also have PE exhaust).
