1:42 BMW M2 at Laguna Seca
Went to Laguna last Sunday and drove the car pretty hard. Managed several 1:42's and almost had a 1:41. Kept botching turn 11 as the car has much more torque so there is some "drifting" throttle oversteer which is awesome but slow.
I think a 1:40 flat is possible in this car with some suspension tuning and some more cajones. Still can't quite get to Porsche Cayman GT4 times. Guys were putting down 1:38.6 which is pretty damn quick for a street car. |
