If I buy a used trunk lid in my color is it likely to match?
Been toying with the idea of a rear LCI conversion for some time now and found a local trunk lid and lights for a steal of a deal, in Montego blue! My cars an 07 and the potential donor is an 09. If I'd have to get it painted, it's not worth it to me. Is it likely to match or being that it's seen two less years of exposure and it's just a different batch of paint will it look different?
Thanks! |

Well by local I mean close enough to drive vs. ship. That's the plan, I just don't know if I should expect it to match or if that's unrealistic. Never done anything like this before. Both are original paint so I'd imagine if its the latter it wouldn't be noticeable til it was installed and lined up on my car.
